Meet Dawn…
Always the third wheel on the most epic elopement and adventurous dates, I align perfectly with those that are daring, bold, adventurous, and ready to have a little fun.
I love freezing a moment in time, holding on to that emotion and being able to transport yourself right back to that feeling anytime you look at the photo. It's magical.
I'm all about capturing the REAL you. The silly side, the uncontrollable laughs, the candid, the joy, the quiet, the intimate, the things you only share with your love. I'm not here to stick you in a pose and say "cheese" while I count to three. Nope, that's not realistic.... that only captures the posed, projected version of you.... and anyone can do that. I want this to be more. I want this to be an experience. An Adventure. Something that you walk away from a little more in love, a little happier, and full of wild memories.
Adventure is my life's passion. I love rock climbing, fly-fishing, hiking, traveling, snowboarding, surfing.... you name it. I love being outside - preferably in the mountains. I’m a mom to a little boy that has opened my eyes to a whole new adventure… parenthood. As a result, I’ve fallen even more in love with family photography (especially my Mama + Me Mini sessions).
Everyone has their own adventure, and whatever yours is, I want to help you remember it for years to come. Whether I'm capturing your elopement or wedding, family time in the mountains, a special session for mamas and their littles, or just a regular afternoon spent in your home, I want to be sure that you have a piece of that moment forever.

The associate team has been curated carefully to choose only those photographers who provide the same experience in a session as I would myself and all of the photographs are edited specifically to have the Dawn Louise Photography style.

I know how quickly time passes and how important it is to preserve moment in time. Photography allows me to have a creative outlet to do just that for others!
Family and newborn sessions are my favorite to shoot. I was formerly a teacher, so working with littles is a passion of mine.
Outside of photography I love hiking, cooking on the blackstone, and home DIY projects!

How many images will I receive?
Each of my packages varies in the number of photos delivered, but rest assured - I always deliver as many as I possibly can! In my editing process, I weed out the ones that aren't good anyway (closed eyes, hand in the face, etc.) to ensure that I'm delivering the best quality images possible. I don't like to give a cutoff number because I don't withhold images as some photographers do. I promise to capture your memories fully and give you more than enough images to remember this special day.
What is your turnaround time?
Typically for an elopement or wedding, it takes me around 3-4 weeks to cull, edit, and deliver a full gallery. For a general session I aim to deliver within 1-2 weeks. Depending on the time of year and how many bookings I have, that may be slightly above or slightly less… Either way - I plan to get your images to you as fast as I can!
Do you help in the planning process for elopements and adventure sessions?
Absolutely! Once you book you will receive a questionnaire that allows me to get the inside scoop for what you are envisioning for your day. I'm happy to recommend vendors, make sure you have all of the proper permits, and map out a timeline/plan for the most epic adventure.
