I am so excited to share this styled shoot with you. I’ve always really wanted to have a gorgeous boho-chic elopement shoot at Red Rocks (near Denver,Colorado). I just think this landscape is incredible and the contrast between the bride in stark white against the vibrant red rock makes for the most amazing imagery! So, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to do my first styled shoot and make this dream of mine happen!

This shoot took place in Denver, Colorado near the famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre in a secluded little spot that really captured the Red Rocks desert vibe I wanted. Everything was exactly how I envisioned. The bride’s dress was absolutely stunning. I am obsessed with that low plunge neckline and in combination with that lace, makes for the most gorgeous boho wedding dress. The groom looked straight out of a men’s magazine in that navy blue suit. I am loving the navy blue suit trend! That flower bouquet had the most perfect colors for this backdrop. I think the dark and moody colors complimented the red landscape so well. And don't even get me started on that wooden boho ceremony arch with hanging greenery. It was TO DIE FOR! It was so simple, yet so elegant and boho-chic!

I am so glad I took the photographer plunge and did my first styled shoot. It turns out styled shoots are SO fun! Not only did it give me the opportunity to build my portfolio to show all of you what an amazing photographer I am, but it gave me the chance to experiment as a photographer, try new poses, learn new techniques, and take some risks--all while making friends and connections with other businesses.
