Our models for the shoot were Amber and Ernest. As you can see, they’re absolutely stunning. They were recently married and are so obviously in love. They could barely keep their hands off of each other during the shoot, which made my job so much fun.

Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the most popular destinations for elopements because of the picturesque views and serene environment. I am so excited to share this styled shoot with you. I’ve really wanted to have a gorgeous elopement shoot with the red rocks in Colorado because I think this landscape is incredible and the contrast between the bride in stark white against the vibrant red rock makes for the most amazing imagery!

Elopements are a uniquely special type of wedding shoot. I love the adventure and intimacy of an elopement versus a traditional wedding. It seems to me that the elopements I shoot are more focused on the couple and their unique relationship, interests, or personality, where the typical wedding ceremony in a venue with a big crowd is a result of family traditions and relationships coming together to represent all who are celebrating.

This was one of my favorite elopements because the location was incredible and the couple has some of the sweetest moments I’ve ever had the privilege to be a part of as a photographer. Chelsia and Kenney wanted a simple, yet memorable wedding day.
